-	~~SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL is in session! Following~~ the ~~Children~~'s ~~Moment, students~~ in ~~Grades 1-4 are invited~~ to ~~an ungraded classroom where we will learn one of~~ the ~~Parables of Jesus; nursery care is available for younger children~~.	+	AL JENNINGS who has served as the Church's Custodian for 38 years is retiring. He has cared for the Church and each of us in so many gracious ways. If you would like to contribute to a purse to honor Al, please send your contributions to the Church Office.

-	~~NURSERY CARE is available during the summer for infants, toddlers and pre~~-~~schoolers. One adult volunteer is needed each Sunday; please speak to Dolores May or Lori Sheriff if interested~~ in ~~volunteering~~.	+	WELCOME BACK SUNDAY - September 12th, enjoy "make your own" ice cream sundaes after the service as we celebrate the beginning of a new year in Sunday School.

Fred, who is 92, still paints everyday and teaches a weekly art class at the Community Center. On display will be more than 85 of his stylized tempera paintings of leaves, flowers, animals and buildings.

	WE WILL BE BUILDING A HOUSE with Habitat for Humanity, and for our Church to participate we need to contribute $5,000 for tools / materials. 	PWC CHURCH WORLD SERVICE SCHOOL KITS are being made. Items needed to fill kits to be sent to children in Haiti, etc.: 1 pair blunt scissors, 1 12" ruler, 1 pencil sharpener, 6 new pencils with erasers, 1 large eraser, 1 box 24 crayons, notebook of ruled paper approx. 8-1/2” x 11” containing 150-200 sheets of paper, 12 sheets colored construction paper.
