For Preschool through Middle Schoolers we provide Staycation Bible School, which is a bi-monthly mid-week program based around a familiar Bible story. Usually held from 5 to 7 pm, the program includes a story, a craft, games or role playing, possibly a bit of music and a light dinner. Middle school kids can either participate or work as helpers. Adult volunteers are always welcome.
On Sundays, every other month, kids are released for Junior Church, which is primarily for elementary students, where a lesson based on the scriptures read during the service is presented, and a snack is served. On the Sundays when there is no Junior Church, kids are invited to choose a Worship Bag from the rack in the Sims Room, and join their parents in church, where they can quietly work on activities related to their chosen Bible story.
Youth meet quarterly for an engaging activity together, related to service, learning, or just plain comradery.
Adult Bible Studies take place in October through November and during lent. Generally, there’s a Zoom option for those that prefer to join the study from the comfort of their own homes.
